| "In July of 2003 David Schόtz, the curator of the Vermont Statehouse invited me to have a solo exhibition at the offices of the Governor of Vermont. Of course, I was delighted to assemble a selection of paintings that reflects my love of the land and people of my adopted state of Vermont. In reviewing the paintings I had on hand, I realized that I needed to paint a couple of new works to fill out my vision of the exhibit. After six months of planning and painting, the selection of works was complete." | ||

After the reception, Patricia and William toured the Statehouse
next door to the governor's offices. It is a beautiful capitol building that you should take the time to see if you are in Montpelier. | ||
