"There are many beautiful valleys in Vermont. This painting was inspired by a drive my wife and I took over in the Manchester area. I have to admit to reworking this painting almost annually for the past five years. Each time autumn rolls around I reassess this painting and decide that I can do better. I am happy with it at the moment, but next autumn...."
