"For me, walking through the woods in Vermont after a snowfall is a visual cacophony of compositions in light and dark. Painting the scenes is very much like doing a painting of a woman's body - no kidding! This composition is one of the many examinations of snow that I have done over the years. Even after 10 years in Alaska and 17 years in Vermont, snow is something that continues to fascinate me.
