"Mount Desert Island on the coast of Maine has provided subject matter for artists since the 19th century. This painting is my interpretation of the Porcupine Islands in Frenchman's Bay looking back toward Bar Harbor from the top of the mountian. A fog is whisping over the landscape and ocean below."
