"While going through my paintings, you'll see that Stickneybrook is one of my favorite subjects in Vermont. This painting was done in October of 2004 while in the full glory of autumn in Vermont. The clear water flowing over the streambed is a delight to behold and very difficult to paint. I wrote an article for American Artist Magazine that illustrates how this painting was done."
