"Dramatic cliffs overhanging the sea really get me worked up when I think about doing a painting of them. The Ovens has been a favorite destination on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. These cliffs re undercut with sea caves that thunder like cannonfire when the surf thunders against the back of the caves"
