Sunset Mooring, Nova Scotia "Sunset Mooring, Nova Scotia"
Oil on Canvas
38" x 28" (Sold)

"My wife and I went out on a fishing boat one afternoon along the south shore of Nova Scotia near Port Mouton. On our return the sun was setting and the fog was beginning to roll in. I remember tapping my wife on the shoulder and telling her that I thought the sun was the very definition of the color yellow. The memory stayed with me and finally inspired me to do this painting more than a month later. The piece received the "People's Choice Award" at the 2005 Regional Biennial Juror's Choice Exhibition at the Thorne Sagendorf Gallery in Keene, NH."
