"All along the coastline of the harbor of Lockport, Nova Scotia, there are islands and clearings which offer beautifully framed views of the lighthouses and the boats coming in and out of the wide waterway. The lighthouse in the far distance is on Gull Rock and is a substantial structure reduced to a ruin by the pounding oceean it barely sits above. (There's an aerial photo of the lighthouse in my August, 2006 newsletter.)"
