"Newfane Common" depicts the Windham County Courthouse in the background and the Civil War monument of Newfane in the foreground. The snow-covered statue and trees makes for beautiful patterns and contrasts. The light blue-violet shadows on the white courthouse are quite to my liking and capture a certain feeling of the Vermont winter landscape.
