For a couple of days in late summer in Nova Scotia the monarch butterflies descended on our garden. Of course they are quite beautiful to watch and I was inspired to do this composition using flowers from my garden as well as hydrangea blossoms from the huge tree in my neighbor's yard that hangs out over our deck.
