"It isn't often that one would find oneself in the deep forest, still and alone with no illumination other than the light of a full moon. This is my imagining of the experience after your eyes have adjusted to the subtle grays and blacks of the delicate light.

Forest in Moonlight is a quiet mosaic of warm and cool grays which presents the embrace of the moon's soft light illuminating foliage in the hardwood forests of New England. This print was done at the same time as the print, 'Abundant Earth' using the same block. It was printed in a different order than that print and I used a very different palette of inks to create a separate image using the same composition."
