"This print is inspired by the beautiful complexity of the light coming down through the trees within the forests of New England. This was a confusing print to carve as the structure of the image is made up of the combination of colors, not any one, dominant color alone. While carving, it was difficult to keep track of what I was revealing and how it was going to look when printed. But in the end, the result was very much what I intended.
