Peggys Cove is known worldwide for its dramatic setting on the granite barrens of coastal Nova Scotia. The lighthouse, perched on top of the massive boulders is also a post office these days and receives many visitors each day. The village that accompanies this lighthouse is very small. Indeed, it consists of a scooped out pocket of a cove surrounded by half a dozen houses, a church and a few fishing shacks. It is quite picturesque and images of this place grace many, many collections of photos around the world.

My view of Peggys Cove in this print is from down the coast a little way. The image, for those of you who know Peggys Cove, it reversed, or mirrored in the printing process from my drawing done on location.
