"This the first print I did in which I felt I had a complete understanding of the carving and printing process. It is seven impressions/colors. It had taken me two years of learning linocut printing to reach this point.

The print image came from one evening when I went out onto Main Street in Brattleboro to take some pictures in a heavy snow storm. The pictures came out nothing like the experience. The long exposures made the falling snow invisible. I felt that this medium and image really captured the feeling of the experience."
