"I have painted with watercolors since the age of 16. Although I am capable of controlling the medium almost completely, I enjoy the chance happenings that often occur. I paint mostly on location with watercolors as my studio time is most often taken up with oil landscapes and portraits. There is a charm and immediacy to watercolors that cannot be replicated by any other medium."
