Plaza Nuevo, Seville "Piazza SS Annunziata, Florence"
Watercolor
9" x 7"

"This fanciful bronze fountain was done by the sculptor, Tacci. He is better known for the very large boar near the market in Florence. The piazza is rimmed by Brunelesci's Hospital of the Innocents, a very elegant and trend-setting work of architecture. The miror image of this work is seen behind the fountain. Although built much later, the monastary of Serviti is a perfect compliment to its predecesor across the square."
